Kauri Snails

My Kauri snails belong to an imagined world with a strong New Zealand connection. They bring together forest life, human faces and the intricate patterns of technology, exploring how small things can hold unexpected power.

As the series has evolved, the snails have developed Kauri tree seed cone heads, connecting fauna and flora. Their raised heads and flowing bodies suggest creatures on a voyage, each developing its own character.
